Today Miss Azura gave us chapter 6 lecture, topic is telecommunication. Firstly, Miss Azura explained the definition telecommunication and telecommunication services. There are 10 kind of services which are leased line, private line, dedicated line, fixed line, WiMax, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB), Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Wibree and 3G (Third Generation). Secondly, Miss Azura talked about satellite communication. There are 3 categories of satellite which are Geosynchronous-Earth Orbit (GEO), Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) and Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO). Thirdly is types of satellite such as Anti-satellite weapons, Astronomical satellites, Biosatellites, Communications satellites, Miniaturized satellites, Navigational satellites, Reconnaissance satellites, Earth observation satellites, space stations, tether satellites and weather satellites. After lecture, Miss Azura settle problem of separate group and determine which group get which topic of presentation by drawing.
